Author of The Heroines’ Club:  A Mother-Daughter Empowerment Circle (April 2016).

Melia Keeton-Digby M.Ed. is an accomplished mother, speech-language pathologist, transformational life coach, author, blogger, and sacred circle facilitator who embodies the Mother archetype and brings the nourishing medicine of the Great Mother into all she does.

She is the founder of The Mother-Daughter Nest, a sacred women’s gathering space nestled in a cozy sanctuary among the trees on her family’s land just outside the magical town of Athens, Georgia.   The Mother-Daughter Nest lovingly offers sacred women’s circles, mother-daughter circles, rites of passage ceremonies, workshops, and a variety of coaching services to women, mothers, and mothers and daughters together.   It is the birthplace of the original Heroine’s Club Empowerment Circle, which she shares in her first book so that women around the world can reap the same benefits of empowered and enriched relationships.

Melia is passionately invested in supporting mothers to raise confident, connected daughters.  On a daily basis, she demonstrates an acute ability to guide and support parents and their children to reach their highest potential, cultivated through more than a decade of experience working with children of all ages in the public school system as well as a complete devotion to the ancient practice of women circling together.  She brings a holistic perspective to her work and writes extensively about mothering, daughtering, and the beautiful, often complex, mother-daughter relationship.  Her work has been featured in a variety of online and print publications.

Melia is a wholehearted mother to her three beloved children, ages 15, 10, and 6.
